Autumn Retreat

November 14th-17th 2017

A three days Writing Retreat in rural Herefordshire.

Come and immerse yourself in your work from Tuesday to Friday in this wonderful 14th Century House in Weobley.

This will be the perfect retreat for those wishing to get away from the interruptions of everyday life, and get on with their writing.

Moira and Jane will take care of the cooking and housekeeping, leaving you free to write and relax in this fabulous old house.  Snuggle up and write by one of the four wood burners. Use the huge dining room table or find a quiet nook, knowing that there’s nothing to distract you.

The Throne is a half-timbered house situated in the picturesque, ‘black and white’ Herefordshire village of Weobley, near Hay-on-Wye.

There are six lovely bedrooms, one on the ground floor with an ensuite, and several modern bath and shower rooms. There’s even a secret Narnia cupboard…

Samantha Pearse, poet and stand-up comedian, will be joining us on Wednesday. She runs thought provoking workshops for all abilities, from experienced writers, to women’s institutes and corporate businesses as well as performance events.

Her afternoon workshop will encourage prose writers look at their work in a fresh way that makes every word count.
